Rescheduled Plum Lake Historical and Naturalist Hike

Join local historian Jim Bokern and a Discovery Center Naturalist on a fascinating hike through history in the Plum Lake Hemlocks Forest State Natural Area. We will explore the Milwaukee Road Railroad, state leased land and the people that lived in this area over a century ago and walk in their footsteps. This is an off trail, moderately strenuous 4-5 mile hike with one wetland crossing. Bring a lunch and water.  Space is limited so please pre-register early.  This program is only open to current NLDC and Manitowish Waters Historical Society (MWHS) members.  $40 for members of the NLDC and MWHS.
