Discover Historic Traditions and Mysteries of Alder and Wild Rice Lakes by Water

Join Kay Krans and Jim Bokern on a two hour pontoon tour of Alder and Wild Rice Lakes. This trip will depart from Alder Lake and explore the rich histories of these lakes with a wealth of historic images.  Discover the Native American trail networks, unique canal systems that linked the MW chain to Lac Du Flambeau, all phases of the logging era, a railroad spur landing, homesteads, early resorts, and businesses.

Pontoon tour will launch from Jim Bokern’s home 4795 Lavigne Rd  Manitowish Waters WI.

Cost for the Alder/Wild Rice pontoons:  $35 ($30 members of the NLDC or MWHS)
