We’ll also visit several local spots for refreshments and fascinating stories about the town’s past. Along the way\, we’ll discuss the diverse ecologies of the Northwoods and the impact of the CCC in preserving natural resources. Additionally\, we’ll explore the remains of two earlier river drive-era logging camps on the Camp Mercer grounds.
