June 16 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Free
On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Boulder Beer Bar in Boulder Junction will host the Manitowish Waters Historical Society for a presentation celebrating the founding of the U.S.A. 250 years ago.
Local historian Jim Bokern’s presentation will run from 6-7 pm and highlight the creation of our great country!
Jim, or as we will know him Tuesday evening, Thomas Jefferson, will take us back through time to highlight the great men and women whose ideals and principles shaped our history. We’ll hear about the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and learn many interesting facts as we refresh our U.S. history knowledge heading into July 4th and America 250!
Boulder Beer Bar will be serving a complementary punch made from a 1732 Philadelphia recipe. Punch was the common drink at gatherings in this era, following the Rule of 5: one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong and four of weak, five is spice.
Free knowledge, free beverages, free entry for all ages! No registration required.
