Alder & Wild Rice Lakes Pontoon Tour

Join Jim Bokern, historian with the Manitowish Waters Historical Society, for a two-hour pontoon tour of Alder and Wild Rice lakes. Departing from Alder Lake, this tour will delve into the rich history of the area, featuring historic images and stories. Explore the Indigenous People trail networks, the unique canal systems connecting the MW chain to Lac du Flambeau, the logging era, railroad spur landings, homesteads, early resorts and businesses.

Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early! The cost is $60 ($55 for members of the MWHS or NLDC), and lunch at Little Bohemia is included, either before or after the tour.
