Culturally Modified Trees
February 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On Tuesday, February 11th we will have our second winter Zoom presentation. Join historian Jim Bokern from 7-8 pm Central time to learn about Culturally Modified Trees in the area. These trees are significant because they tell stories about how those from the past altered trees either for Ojibwe food and building purposes or by early loggers and settlers for navigation purposes. Jim will show you pictures of trees in the area that are still telling stories today
No pre-registration is required for either event.
