Take a step back in time with the Manitowish Waters Historical Society on the Manitowish Waters Crime Pontoon Tour #1. Hear how local residents became involved in bootlegging, supplying alcohol to Chicago and Minneapolis. Learn about the kidnapping of mob boss Leon Gleckman and where the captors hid him. Hear stories about Ralph Capone and John Dillinger, who, while trying to escape the FBI, crossed paths with local families and were involved in the Little Bohemia shootout.

This two-hour tour offers a mix of local history and beautiful lake views. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early! The cost is $60 ($55 for members of the MWHS or NLDC), and lunch at Little Bohemia is included, either before or after the tour.
