Trout Lake History Pontoon Tour

July 14 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
$70 – $75

Trout Lake stands out as one of the most unique Northwoods lakes with an amazing history. Join historian Jim Bokern and naturalist Jenna Richardson on a pontoon tour that will explore cultural and natural destinations. Trout Lake’s size, depth and ecologies support unique fisheries, while large tracts of state land maintain a wild landscape. Historically, Trout Lake Indigenous communities, State Forestry Headquarter, Trout Lake Station for Limnology, and early resorts are a few of our destinations.

Space is limited, so please register early; $75 ($70 for members of the NLDC or MWHS). Register at the North Lakeland Discovery Center (www.discoverycenter.net). For more information, contact the NLDC (715-543-2085 or at [email protected]).
