Outers Magazine-“Up to Lost Lake and Back -A Fishing Trip Without Fish” 1918 by Harold W. Pripps

Harold Pripps chronicles another Northwoods fishing adventure to Lost Lake.  The story is fun to read, and the calamity of the fishermen does keep your interest.  Historically, the images are the best of the rapids under what is now the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Avid travelers to the Turtle Flambeau Flowage will find these images thought provoking.   Additionally, Lost Lake's location is a bit of a mystery and could be the subject of historic investigations, logically by the folks in Springstead, Wisconsin.
