Discover Historic Traditions and Mysteries of Alder and Wild Rice Lakes by Water

Join Manitowish Waters Historical Society historian Jim Bokern on a two-hour pontoon tour of Alder and Wild Rice lakes. This trip will depart from Alder Lake and explore the rich histories of these lakes with a wealth of historic images. Discover the Indigenous People trail networks, unique canal systems that linked the MW chain to Lac du Flambeau, all phases of the logging era, a railroad spur landing, homesteads, early resorts and businesses.
